The Food Transformation Center’s purpose is to manufacture long shelf-life food products for export. In this case, the raw produce will be sourced from the Talia Farms’ cooperatives, creating a new market for local farmers.

Once established, the FTC will create new non-farming jobs, diversify the local economy, and establish an export infrastructure. Together, the cooperatives and TFC become anchors for attracting ancillary businesses, powering economic growth, and being part of the Regional Hub.

These activities’ implementation depends on the restoration of the country’s security.   Regardless, planning starts in January 2023.
