Each cooperative can have between 100 to 500 members, with each family representing one member.

Since the average Haitian family consists of five people, between 2,500 and 12,500 individuals will directly benefit from these cooperatives. When such a large number of farmers aggregate their production, their total output size becomes the basis for establishing a regional agricultural production hub, which is one of Talia Farms Program’s main goals.

A hub is a planned cluster of same-industry cooperatives, businesses, organizations, and institutions. It promotes regional economic growth through its production scale, innovation, business incubation, and support services. This concentration of activities creates economic vitality and serves as a magnet to attract more industry-related businesses.
