The Pandemic

At the onset of the pandemic, we responded to the Marre-Roseau community’s request to install public handwashing stations to follow the CDC recommendations to minimize the virus’s transmission.

Since the region has no access to water, trucks delivered water regularly. This, combined with proper distancing during meetings and other events, helped to keep the local infection rate extremely low.
